Q. What is Kpopsky MV Night?A. It's an event where the community can come together and watch music videos submitted by the community!
Q. How do I join? Where do the watch parties take place? Do I have to sign up for anything?A. We hold kpopsky mv night on a website called watch2gether and it requires no sign up at all. The website allows for video sharing and for chatting together. You just need to show up!
Q. How do I submit songs?A. During submission periods there will be a google form posted to the kpopsky mv night bsky and linked under the "submit" tab on this carrd.
Q. I tried to submit a song but the form was closed. Where is it?A. The song submission form is closed except for the 10 days leading up to the watch party each month.
Q. What are the guidelines for submissions?A. We usually have a theme every month for the types of videos, concepts, or songs we will be spotlighting (past themes can be found in the archive tab). Otherwise go wild! Official MVs, stages, dance practices, special videos etc are all welcome!
Q. Is there a limit to how many songs I can submitA. Currently you can submit up to three songs per month
Q. Can I submit more than just Kpop songs?A. While this is a watch party for kpopsky we welcome all idol music. So Jpop, Cpop,Tpop,Ppop,K-rock is all welcome as long as the groups or soloists are part of the idol system or adjacent systems in their country. This guideline may flex based on theme, but any changes will be clearly marked on the submission form.
Q. I missed the stream/I can't remember the name of a song that played/I want to re-listen. Am I out of luck?A. No worries! All of the playlists made for each kpopsky mv night are found in the archive. They are listed by month along with the theme. The links will take you to a youtube playlist.
